The “Imaginer la Place d’Armes” UNESCO Urban Design Workshop is a project headed by the Design Montréal office and produced in partnership with the Ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine du Québec and the UNESCO Chair in Landscape and Environmental Design at Université de Montréal (the scientific coordinator). The event benefits from the involvement of several municipal consulting resources (heritage, parks and green spaces) and financial support from the Entente 2005-2008 sur le développement culturel de Montréal as well as the Ministère des Affaires municipales et des Régions as part of the Fonds de développement de la Métropole.
